Half of Clean 2011 Exhibit Space Sold
Las Vegas Hotel Reservations Open July 15
With a year still to go, the Clean Show 2011 – the world’s largest exposition for the laundry, drycleaning and textile services industry – has sold over 50 percent of its exhibit space. The show will take place June 6-9, 2011, in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“We are delighted that sales are going so well,” said Jim Thacker, chairman of the Clean Executive Committee and executive director of the Association for Linen Management. “This appears to be an indication that the industry’s economy is picking up. We want potential exhibitors to know, though, that there are still many good spaces available.”
Exhibitors and attendees who plan to attend Clean 2011 can make hotel reservations for any of the 11 hotels in the show’s official package beginning July 15. Clean 2011 negotiated special rates to suit any budget at these hotels: Bally’s (CLA headquarters), Caesar’s Palace, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Imperial Palace, Las Vegas Hilton (TCATA and TRSA headquarters), The Mirage, Paris (DLI headquarters), Planet Hollywood (ALM headquarters), Riviera, and Wynn Las Vegas.
To obtain the show’s special rates reservations must be made through the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority Housing Service. On the website, www.cleanshow.com, click on either Attendees or Exhibitors, then scroll down to Hotels & Travel on the left side. Reservations require an arrival and departure date and a one-night deposit for each room reserved.
Clean 2011’s theme is “The Show That Works.” It is the only textile care show that features working equipment. It also offers educational seminars and networking opportunities that work to improve a company’s business. Show Management anticipates that approximately 10,000 to 12,000 people from around the world will attend Clean 2011. Companies that offer equipment, products or services to the textile care industry will find a wealth of buyers at the show.
The biennial World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning, the show’s formal name, is sponsored by five industry trade associations: Association for Linen Management (ALM), Coin Laundry Association (CLA), Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI), Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) and Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA).
